What Is Your Giant?

I just finished reading an amazing book "Goliath Must Fall" by Louie Giglio and would like to share some of his points with you.

What is your giant? Everyone has one, we may choose to act as though we don't, but we do. Whether it's alcoholism, drug addiction, anorexia, complacency, fear of rejection, depression, etc., etc., everyone has a giant they must face.

No one is exempt, everyone has their own giant they face. This giant can rob you of your power and ultimately cause you to not be living the kind of life you want to live. God wants you to live free, unfettered from the chains that bind you and the beliefs that limit you.

Your giant will taunt you that you will never change for the better, you'll always live with things the way they are, you are not worthy.

Jesus came so that you could have life and have it abundantly. Jesus came to earth so our relationship with God could be restored. Jesus rose from the grave so we would not have a doomed life. He has already beaten our giants and won the victory. Jesus has already destroyed your giant.

Now, it is up to us to walk in that victory. In the upcoming posts, we will delve a little more into this. In the meantime, feel free to read the story of David and Goliath, 1 Samuel 17:1-58
